POLARYTE HD VISION POLARIZED SUNGLASSES REVIEW | MRS. A

Mr. A surprised me a couple of weeks ago with a new pair of sunglasses. It was the popularly sold Polaryte HD Vision Polarized Sunglasses and was sold for a two for the price of one promo – Php 3,495 – so he had a pair of new sunnies as well. He bought this one from TV Shop.Ph

I have worn this pair of sunglasses a couple of times already and I must say that I am quite impressed. I have tried other sunglasses and I have been disappointed at to some extent (even the very expensive ones, which I had very high expectations). Let me put it this way, there are some sunglasses that make my eyes hurt after I wear them for a certain period of time. Some lenses even have grades on them that make it even more difficult for me to see because there is that feeling that you can TRIP any time if you’re not careful. That’s what I hate the most about sunglasses. Even if the frames and shapes are perfect, it all boils down to the lens.

I have to admit, I wasn’t really attracted with the sunglasses that Mr. A bought me. I even commented that maybe it would look better if boys wore it even if the product description stated that the sunglasses are unisex. But when I gave it a chance and looked at myself in front of the mirror, I realized that it wasn’t that bad after all. I can safely conclude that the wide frame of the sunnies is a combination of both functionality and fashion. The wideness helps with the total covering of the eyes giving it more protection from the harmful rays of the sun. Though the sunglasses is for both men and women, I don’t think that its wide shape is for all face types.

The sunglasses have what the company calls the anti-scratch lens. Being the clumsy me, I have dropped this several times already but still no scratch up to this day. I’m sure the scratches will manifest sooner or later but it’s still stronger compared to other sunglasses being sold in the market. It also protect the eyes from UV rays and cuts the glare which is, of course, the very reason why sunglasses are even invented in the first place.

Another great plus about the sunglasses is that it has magnets that securely fasten it when being clipped on clothes, bags, etc. I’m sure we’ve all done it – putting our sunglasses on the neck portion of our shirts or on our pants pockets but they always seem to fall off. With the magnets, they just stay there. No need to worry about these sunnies getting lost. Mr. A and I put it on the dashboard of our car and thanks to the magnets, the sunnies just sit there in their respective places.

Overall, I can say that this is generally a good product. Like I said, it has both functionality and fashion. But the product is leaning more towards the function rather than fashion because again, the wide shape is not for all face types. It would be nice if the company makes sunglasses with different shapes using the same lens.

Thanks for the sunglasses my love.
