WHAT I WORE: Top, H&M | Cut-Off Reconstructed Jogger Pants, THRIFTED | White Shoes, CRISSA

This might sound a bit ridiculous to some but believe it or not, this whole outfit pretty much reminds me about what my life is all about. Take this top for example. The top, which I got for H&M on sale for only 500 pesos, is so colorful. It contains both bright and dark colors that figuratively symbolizes the ups and downs of one's life. We've all had those days when we just want to stay at home and hibernate forever, when we don't want to see anybody's faces because well, we just want to be by ourselves because we had a bad day or something. And of course, we also have moments that we get hit by the happy bug and want to get a glimpse of the beautiful sun in the outside world. Hence, the representation of the dark and light colors, respectfully.

These jogger pants, which I had reconstructed (Click HERE for the blog post) in a way also symbolizes my life. When I got these pants, they were in straight cut style which did not really suit me well. So I had it reconstructed to my liking. It's just like saying when life gives you lemons, make LEMONADE! There may be times that we find ourselves in a situation that we don't want to be in, we can always do something about it and not make ourselves miserable. We can always choose to get out of it or just change our mindset into a positive one. It may be hard to do but we can still have full control of the situation. Just like the pants.. It did not suit me well at first but after I had it reconstructed, it is already one of my favorites. I took control of how the pants should be and now it fits me quite well.

Okay so who would have thought that a simple OOTD could make me realize a bunch of things that are way TOO DEEP. I think I have been watching too many dramatic movies lately. Ha ha!

Oh LIFE! Sometimes you're down, sometimes you're up. That's just how it is. Smile! Life is too short to dwell on things that'll bring you down. Instead, just focus on things that truly matter and that will bring you genuine happiness.

Welcome to my COLORFUL, WONDERFUL LIFE.
