I am currently digging the new Tropika Brightening Plus Beauty Bar vfrom My Skin Origins. I have been using this for a while now and I must say that this is definitely on top of my favorite soaps to date.

Tropika, from the name itself, is made out of Pineapple extract, Bearberry Leaf Extract, Papaya Extract and Chamomile Extract. The soap’s mix of yellow green and cream reminds me of the coconut leaves and the white sand of Boracay – a tropical paradise.

Pineapple is good for the skin because it contains ample amounts of Vitamin C and anti-oxidants that help in the treatment of acne, prevention of fine lines and help even out the skin tone. It is also rich in bromelain, a mixture of enzymes which is very effective in removing dead skin cells and make pores less visible to the naked eye.

Bearberry Leaf Extracts contain arbutin which naturally lightens and brightens skin.

Papaya Extract contains papain which is an enzyme that is responsible for anti-aging, skin lightening, exfoliation and skin repair.

Chamomile Flower Extract possesses anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, antibacterial, antiseptic and contains essential oils and anti-oxidants.
Usage: Lather gently onto skin (face and body). Leave on skin for about 2-3 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

Personal take on the product: The soap is quite big compared to other soaps being sold on the market. It weighs 135 grams and smells really good. Its tropical scent sticks to the skin after every bath giving it that beach feel. A few days after using the soap, I started to notice a peeling effect on my face. This lasted for around 3 to 5 days and then it just disappeared. I noticed that my skin became smoother and lighter in just days. I also like the fact that it doesn’t sting even if you leave it for more than three minutes. Other soaps tend to sting after leaving it on the skin for even a small period of time.

This is an all-around soap that is very worth recommending to all my friends and family. My Skin Origins did a good job once again in creating this soap.

You can purchase this soap and their other products at Door 2 #93 Jacinto Street, Davao City
