OOTD BY MRS. A | OF MURALS & CLASSIC MEMORIES

If there are pieces of clothing that I like to keep on wearing, one of them would have to be this denim polo shirt dress and another would be this pair of black leggings that my aunt bought me during my first trip to Jakarta in 2013. Yes guys, I’ve had these pieces for 5 years already and I still keep on wearing them. Good news is that the quality is still great and as if both items were just newly bought, no kidding!

I have always admired my aunt’s classic fashion sense and whenever she buys me clothes, I always appreciate these because it gives me a sense of fashion comfort and elegance. The clothes she buys gives yours truly the usual break from the street style clothes that I usually buy. She personally loves the brand MARKS & SPENCER and these two pieces were actually bought from their store inside Grand Indonesia Shopping Mall.

Fun Fact: When Mr. A finally decided to introduce me to his family, I decided to wear these two pieces of clothing just to, at least, give a great first impression. And yep, looks like I did well because 3 years later, I became MRS. A! ha ha (okay so I’m not saying that it was because of the clothes that his family accepted me but the comfortable style and fabric of both pieces truly helped in giving me confidence to get me through that day.) Whew!

And look! My outfit looked good together with SM LANANG PREMIERE’s beautiful and artistic mural. Good thing I decided to wear this outfit that day because if I wore something fashionably loud, it wouldn’t exactly look good on the photos. Just like the plain on print idea.

WHAT I WORE: Top, MARKS & SPENCER | Leggings, MARKS & SPENCER | Earrings, TOMLIZ, UYANGUREN | Denim Shoes, SM DEPARTMENT STORE

Some would say that both pieces of clothing combined together look pretty basic. Nah, it’s not basic… but I call it CLASSIC.

Call me and outfit repeater but sorry not sorry folks. Looks like these pieces are staying with me for a long long time.
