GOING CASHLESS is not a thing of the future anymore. It is finally here! And what's great is that the country's top Quick-service restaurants (QSRs) have joined the bandwagon to adopt safer cashless transactions in their respective stores, drive-thrus, and online delivery portals for the benefit of their customers as well as their hardworking employees.

Jollibee Group, McDonald's and KFC - these industry leaders have started adopting PayMaya's end to end digital payments solutions for enterprise - starting with POS (Point of Sale) devices for their in-stores and drive-thrus, and also digital invoicing for their online orders. Of course, these efforts are in line with the updated guidelines issued by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) wherein alternative payment options are now highly encouraged as part of compliance with health and safety protocols.

Given the health situation of the world, going cashless is the emerging preferred mode of payment by most consumers in order to make lesser contact in line with health and safety protocols under the so-called "New Normal". Gone are the days when we need to look for the exact amount or getting change when paying. Just a simple tap here... tappy tap there and poof!... you can now pay without literally grabbing your wallet from your pocket or bag. All you need is your handy-dandy cellphone to be able to pay for your favorite food.

McDonald's has now started accepting cashless payments through their McDelivery website (mcdelivery.com.ph) and soon, on their McDonald's messenger. They are the first QSR to scale cash payments back in 2018.

Various brands under Jollibee Groups such as Jollibee, Burger King, Greenwich, Mang Inasal, Red Ribbon and Chowking have recently accepted digital payments via their Facebook  Messenger Chatbots. Imagine how convenient is that! It's just like chatting with a friend but you are actually already ordering and paying for your food via FB Messenger.

Meanwhile, KFC offers an array of digital payment options at its website - www.kfc.com.ph, which allows ordering via delivery and advance ordering for pick up through their stores.

These are just a fraction of the amazing possibilities all of us can do with the PayMaya app and how beautiful and awesome going cashless is.
