Hey babes! It's February once again and you know what that means... VALENTINES MONTH!

I'm sure most of us spend a lot of time thinking of what to wear during Valentines even if it is celebrated alone, with family or with a special someone. Whether we celebrate it exactly on the 14th or celebrate it as pre or post Valentines, we always put weight on what we wear to set the mood and of course, want to look our best during that special day.

As a collaborative effort, my #DBSStyleSquad and I chose to showcase our respective personal takes on the theme Romantic Vintage Valentines.

here is mine...

When it comes to vintage outfits, LACE is the particular fabric that first pops into my mind. I've seen it in different old movies where the ladies wear elegant clothing in lace and jazz up their outfits with different accessories like pearls, feathers, etc.

Pastel colors make the outfit more inclined on the Romantic side. For this OOTD, I chose my necklace with big pastel colored beads as the main accessory. And of course, another accessory in the vintage category would be my pearl earrings from my mother dearest.

Let's talk about skirt gamin', shall we?

Here's me and Sai Dayanghirang of www.saidayunicorn.com showcasing our chiffon skirts. I love how long skirts make any outfit elegant and classy. It gives a conservative but sweet edge to every whole ensemble.

Lace Lace and more Laces with me and the squad - Rothessa, Mommy Olivia and yours truly.

For this particular OOTD, I ditched the long skirt from Forever 21 and put on my green shorts which I bought online years ago to give the Romantic Vintage Valentine outfit a more casual look. This is definitely wearable during daytime like on a Valentine Lunch date at the mall.

By the way, here's our ROMANTIC VINTAGE LOOKBOOK VIDEO on Youtube featuring Sai, Rothessa, Mommy Olivia, Roxanne and yours truly with our sweet Romantic Vintage outfits. (video edited by Roxanne Lacap)

The best accessory of all? Don't forget your SMILE! Valentines is not just about having somebody special... but it's about FEELING SPECIAL, alone or not.

Happy Valentines Month, BABES! =)
