How fortunate was I to be one of the first ones to get a glimpse of the all new SAMSUNG GALAXY A55 5G and GALAXY A35 5G during their grand event held on March 12, 2024 (Tuesday) at Dusit Thani Hotel's Grand Ballroom.

As a Samsung User for more than 5 years (I am a proud of owner of a Samsung Note 8), I am fully aware of how reliable and of great quality Samsung Phones are. Even my husband is a certified Samsung fanatic - evidenced by owning a Samsung Note 10, A Samsung S21 and now a proud owner of a Samsung S24 Ultra (and several Samsung phones way way before but silly me has forgotten the exact name of those units lol, forgive me). My husband is indeed a loyal Samsung user thanks to the brand's continuous efforts on innovation, prioritizing security of its users and also adapting to the needs of the majority - and that is making phones that are perfect for digital story telling without the need to break the bank.

See! I wasn't kidding when I said that this guy is indeed a loyal Samsung Fan. Not only phones but he has the watch and buds, too!
Okay, let's go back to talking about the new phones...

This is where the Samsung Galaxy A55 5g And Galaxy A35 5G enters the stage.

Both phones mentioned above offer impressive photography capabilities that Samsung Galaxy is renowned for, which includes features such as optical image stabilization and video digital image stabilization that keep photos and videos crisp even then filming in motion.

On "nightography", the Samsung Galax A55 5G surprisingly takes clearer and vibrant photos even in poor lighting conditions. Gone are the days of noisy photos because Samsung has done a good job in looking for a solution on that particular problem area. The AI Image Signal Processing produces quality low-light images which has never been seen before on previous Galaxy A series. Altogether, the Night Portrait mode and 12-bit HDR video ensure that the subjects in every image look great so that capturing images with loved ones is not dependent anymore on ample natural and artificial lighting.

Here's a photo of one of the flatlay arrangements during the event. It's hard to tell from the photo what particular phone is this but the body make pretty much tells it all - Metal Aluminum Frame for Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and Plastic for Samsung Galaxy A35 5G.

What also impressed me during Mr. Mark Que's talk is that Samsung has prioritized the security of its users thanks to the Samsung Knox Vault (a flagship security feature) - which is a first for Galaxy A series users. This offers a comprehensive protection against both hardware and software attacks by constructing a secure execution environment that is physically isolated for the system's main processor and also the memory. It is also designed to safeguard critical information and protect against various vulnerabilities with end-to-end secure hardware, real-time threat detection and collaborative protection.

And another good news that I learned during the event is that Samsung bringing back the perks of its loyal SAMSUNG MEMBERS. Now being a Samsung User not only makes you an owner of a phone with great features, but also rewards you with various perks at the same time.

When it comes to content creation, or as Samsung calls it "Digital Story Telling", these two phones are definitely good options for aspiring content creators who want to produce quality content without burning a hold in their pockets. When it comes to camera specs, the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G is equipped with the following cameras: 12MP Ultra-Wide Camera, 50MP Main Camera, 5MP Macro Camera and 32MP Front Camera. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy A35 also has a pretty impressive line up: 8MP Ultra-Wide Camera, 50 MP Main Camera, 5 MP Macro Camera and 13MP Front Camera.

Here are some photos of me and my friend, Josef Cagas of DAVAO GEEK HUB, playing around with the Samsung Galaxy A35 that was assigned to us during the KOL Challenges that happened during the event:

Here's Josef soaking up some sun by the pool. I hope he didn't forget to put on some sunscreen!

Here's a photo of me and Josef at Samsung's Mirror. This challenge was about taking a photo and putting customized stickers of items from the event. I mean how cool is this feature?! So we took photos of items around the area, took photos of each other, turned it into stickers and voila!... look at the finished product below:

Look at all the added elements: a flamingo, a pineapple, Josef's shades, and our face swap moment lol!

In my own personal opinion: If you are somebody who does LIVE on social media, I would definitely recommend the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G thanks to its 32MP Front Camera.

Verdict: I am very impressed with both the Samsung Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 5G. Prices are as follows: Php 24,990 for Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and Php 20,990 for Samsung Galaxy A35 5G. If you purchase on March 18 to April 18, 2024, you get two freebies: Free Buds FE worth Php 5,490 and a Free Travel Adapter worth Php 1,190.

Now is the time to #CreateAwesome with both of these phones.
